A quick Historical Perspective . . .

When the Brookfield's founded Brookfield Engineering Laboratories Inc. in Stoughton, Massachusetts in the early 1940's, all of the products then were manufactured and designed at that location. While the Brookfield Viscometer is known throughout the world as a standard of viscosity measurement, another product designed at Brookfield, the patented Brookfield Tool Holder, has a very dedicated following among machinists. Richard Brookfield moved the Brookfield Tool Company to Clearwater, Florida in the mid eighties.
